Surflan is a pre-emergent for puncturevine aka goathead in listed warm-season turfgrass and around established ornamental plants. It cannot be used around fruit trees or other edibles. Unfortunately, we do not have a pre-emergent labeled to control this weed which can be used around edible plants.
