Answer:

For treating lawns, bushes, trees, shrubs and for exterior periemter foundation applications, a handpump sprayer, backpack sprayer or mist blower is recommended to apply Talstar P Professional Insecticide.  Per the product label, a hose end sprayer or watering can is only recommended if treating wood piles and stored lumber to deliver a coarse drenching spray. Treated wood can be burned as firewood or used for lumber one month after treatment.
