Can Tenacity Herbicide be over diluted?

I have .25 Acre that is soil only (regraded backyard); however, I want to control weeds while sowing seed (Tall Fescue). I plan on using 1.5 oz (6oz per acre) on the .25 Acre. I would like to make two passes on the soil (each direction) to get the 1.5 oz on the ground. Is it possible to use to much water at time of application to get the product down? Thank You.

Answer:

Since water is acting as the carrier to get the Tenacity Herbicide into the soil, you cannot use "too much" water when applying. Typiclally, one gallon of water should be used to thoroughly cover a 1,000 sq ft area so if treating a 1/4 acre you will use 11 gallons of water total. If making 2 passes to distribute the 1.5 ounces, you can use at least 5-6 gallons of water each pass.
