You can only use the Malathion 55% on plants and areas listed on the product label. Since the manufacturer did not list this cherry fruit flies on their product label it is not recommended that you use the product for your intended application. Each manufacturer uses a different formulation so to avoid damage to plants or ineffective results it is recommended to use the product only as directed. You can use Malathion 57% for any pest listed on the product label including the cherry fruit fly as long as you are using it on listed plants or areas. Be sure to read over the Malathion 57% product label for complete usage instructions.
