The Southern Ag Chelated Liquid Iron product label states to use it at the rate of 8-16 oz per 1000 sq/ft in sufficient water volume to achieve coverage. As long as your hose end sprayer will allow you to apply it in that rate range you can use that type of equipment to treat the lawn.
