I have some raised vegetable beds that have cockroaches living in the wood mulch and eating my strawberries. Can I spray this around the perimeter of the raised garden bed to treat any roaches moving in or out of the bed? I also plan on using food grade diatomaceous earth inside the bed, and am looking into bait stations as well. What is the best way to treat these?
Talstar P cannot be used on or around any type of edible vegetation. We do carry a full line of products that are labeled for use on edible plants which you can see here: Edible Garden Products. As for the diatomaceous earth that is fine as long as the product label states it can be used in that manner. For the bait, as long as you keep the bait contained in a station, you can use just about any type. Advion Cockroach Bait Arena is a great option. You just don't want it to come in contact with the vegetables.
