Can this be used on fallow ground prior to laying new sod?

We have removed all of our sod but weeds are emerging especially daylily, can we use this before we lay St Augustine citrablue sod? Some products you say must wait several weeks before laying new sod.

Answer:

Basagran T&O Herbicide is labeled to be used on St Augustine grass. Be sure to read and carefully follow the product label for best results. While it does not specific Dayflower/Daylily exactly we do not know if has been tested against it and would recommend checking directly with the manufacturer for further information.   BASF can be reached at 800-777-8570.
