In responses to previous questions it was stated that termite baits should not be used for a colony that is already in the house. But I called many pest removal business and informed them I have confirned and infestation and 95% of them said their plan of action would be termite baits. I am confused as to what to believe.
Yes, Trelona Compressed Termite Bait will kill a subterranean termite colony within about 90 days or so. Termite baiting systems are best used to monitor termite activity prior to having an infestation in your home, but they still may be used as part of a plan to eradicate an infestation as well. We do not recommend relying on termite bait station alone to elimated termites which are already inside the home.
