I have no need for Havahart-style traps. Would you recommend the Catchmaster 48R boards for squirrels in my attic? Not sure if they are Eastern grays or flying squirrels. They are active all night and even in the afternoon.
Since there are certain species of squirrels that are protected, we would recommend to call your Local Cooperative Extension office or Fish and Wildlife Services to see what species are in your area and if they're protected. The Catchmaster 48R Glue Boards are not labeled for squirrels but could possibly work if more than one is being used but trapping them and releasing them may be the only or best choice depending on what type of squirrels you're dealing with. We would also recommend checking for entry points and sealing them to keep the squirrels out of your attic.
