Can I use Monterey Once A Year Insect Control II on succulents to kill mealy bugs?

Answer:

Monterey Once A Year Insect Control II is labeled for mealy bugs, however it is not labeled to be used on succulents.  Per the manufacturers label:  This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment or residues on blooming crops/plants or weeds. DO NOT apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops/plants or weeds if bees are foraging the treatment area.  We recommend that you contact your local cooperative extension office or a horticulturist that specializes in cacti and succulents for advice on which product would work best in your situation. If you cannot find the recommended product on our site please let us know, we will be happy to see if we can get it for you.
