Can I use Prodiamine 65 WDG for spot treatments as well? I use as a pre-emergent but have a number of listed weeds come up. I would rather spot treat than to the entire lawn as a Post-emergent.
Prodiamine 65 WDG is an effective pre-emergent herbicide for pre-emergent grass and broadleaf weed control. This product will not act as a post-emergent. Timing is very important when applying pre emergent products are you want to be sure to apply before the weeds germinate. For the best timing on when to apply a pre-emergent in your specific region, we would recommend contacting your Master Gardener at your local cooperative extension office.
You may spot treat actively growing weeds with a post-emergent product. In order to make a proper recommendation, we would need some more information.
