Per the manufacturer, Solitare WSL is labeled for Zoysia Japonica. Emerald Zoysia is a hybrid of Japonica and Matrella zoysia, which can be more prone to tip burn. Before treating Emerald Zoysia, it’s recommended to do a patch test first. Ensure the patch of your lawn you plan to treat is in healthy condition, use the lower rate, make only one pass, and do not add any surfactant. If the treated patch shows no signs of stress, you can treat the rest of the lawn, following the same method you used for the patch test.
