I have a tiki hut that has palm leaves for the roof. The stems of the leaves are infected with powderpost beetles. Which is the best product to treat this issue?
We would not recommend using a borate product such as Timbor or Boracare on the leaves since the product could potentially damage the leaves. These products are designed to be used on sturdier cellulosic materials such as wooden beams and slats. If you are not able to replace the infested branches, then you would likely need to have a professional company fumigate the structure.
