I have a small business growing Dahlias in green houses for flowers. I have an issue with mites and whiteflies. Can I use this Oil to spray on my plants? What would you recommend for the mixing 1 oz per gallon of water?
Ultra-Pure Oil Horticultural Insecticide, Miticide and Fungicide is labeled for use on plants in greenhouses. However, dahlias are not listed specifically on the product label. For this reason, we recommend testing a few plants before treating all of them since the flowers may be sensitive to this product.
The dilution rate for most flowers on the label is around 1 gallon of Ultra-Pure per 100 gallons of water, which breaks down to 1.28 oz per gallon of water.
You may consider Safari 20SG for whitefly control on flowering plants in greenhouses. For mite control, you may consider miticides such as Sultan Miticide or a total release product such as Beethoven TR.
