If you use the Stuf-Fit Copper Mesh as a wrap, the rodents should not be able to chew through it if you use many layers, however, it would be best to use something more permanent, such as a metal baseplate. The copper mesh is intended to be stuffed into small holes, and then it is usually sealed with a hard filler such as expansion foam. We would recommend using rodenticide in tamper-resistant stations around the exterior of the barn to keep rodents out of the area.
