I bought a 15K square foot bag. My lawn is 9K square feet, but I only used a little less than half the bag. I applied using the proper spreader setting (3 using the Scotts Edge Guard), but the pellet covering on the lawn doesn't seem very dense at all. Can you put too little or too much on the lawn? I'm wondering if I should go over it again to make sure there is enough on it.
It is possible to under apply or over apply when using a granule herbicide like Scotts Turf Builder Halts Crabgrass Preventer with Lawn Food. The need to reapply will really depend on how much product was applied per 1,000 square feet since that is the most important part in the application process.
