Can you recommend what kind of bait I could use to lure a badger into a live catch trap?

I am setting a live trap for a badger problem near a friend's house.

Answer:

Fresh raw chicken seems to do a pretty good job luring badgers into traps. The chicken MUST be fresh or it will not be an effective lure. The trap will work best if it set in an area where the badger has recently been foraging for food. You can usually find this area because the badger will have dug up the ground.
