Can you spray Phantom on your bed, babys furniture? is it safe? Is this product known to cause cancer?

A man came in today and sprayed for bedbugs with phantom. He sprayed the baseboards and the permiter. my living room furniture, my babys bed, the dog bed and my mattress and boxspring? is it still safe to sleep on? and what should i do if not? Is this stuff toxic? He had my one year old, my dog and myself stay in the house while he was spraying.

Answer:

We cannot comment on any work done by a pest control company for liability reasons. We can tell you that the areas you mentioned that were sprayed with the Phantom are listed as areas that can safely be treated on the Phantom Aerosol product label. You do need to let the treated areas dry before you use them and you do need to cover the mattress with a sheet before you use it again. Phantom is safely used in homes everyday to help eliminate bedbug infestations.
