    Q
I sprayed both my lemon and my lime tree with Captain Jack?
How long should I wait before i spray with citrus horticultural oil? I have scale on my fruit.
    A

You can safely apply the Horticultural Oil 14 days after an application of the Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew Concentrate. While there is not a set time listed on either product label, most reapplications or rotations of chemicals with horticultural oil, take place 14 days apart for active insect infestations.

    Q
Can can you use Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew Concentrate in the 2 oz to a gallon ratio in a fogger and will it kill mosquitoes?
    A

The Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew Concentrate can not be used in any form of fogger and is not for controlling mosquitoes at all. Fogging for mosquitoes with appropriate products will usually only provided temporary relief the day you fog but nothing beyond that timeframe. Residual spray products that last on the surface after drying will give you a more continuous approach to controlling the mosquito populations. You can see all the pro tips and products in our Mosquito Control Guide

    Q
Can Captain Jack burn grape vines and fruit?
    A

Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew Concentrate is made from an ingredient called Spinosad, which is a naturally occurring bacterial used to control many chewing worms and other pests from damaging the plants. It should not burn plants if used at the correct use rates per the Product Label instructions for that plant, and when applied at temperatures under 85 degrees. This is typically best done in early mornings or late evenings.
