When treating for cedar apple rust on a flowering crab tree, what concentration should be used in a hose attached sprayer that is calibrated in tablespoons per gallon?
Eagle 20EW Specialty Fungicide is labeled for rust on flowering crabapple trees. Per the product label, For most ornamentals, you would use 6-12 oz per 100 gallons of water per Acre, or 0.06 - 0.12 oz per gallon of water.
It is not recommended apply Eagle 20EW with a hose end applicator as they do not deliver an even application and most do not go down to a low enough setting for proper dilution. It is best to use a hand-pump or backpack sprayer to ensure the most accurate application.
