    How many applications (gallons) does a bottle of Celsius make?
    How many applications (gallons) can you get from a single bottle of Celsius?
    A
    As with most herbicides the exact volume of water is not very important, you just need to be sure you are getting the correct amount of product on a specific area. Celsius may be applied at three different rates depending on the weeds to be controlled. For the appropriate rate and species consult USE RATES FOR WEED CONTROL section on the Celsius product label. For spot applications, add the specified product rate of 0.057-0.113 oz (1.6-3.2g) to enough water to create approximately 1 gallon spray solution. One gallon of spray solution will treat up to 1,000 sq ft. For maximum weed control with broadcast applications, add non-ionic surfactant.

    Does Celsius WG Herbicide kill creeping beggarweed?
    these are the half moon shaped little green stickers that stick to you socks. It's a vine like weed that weaves its way through all my grass!

    Does Celsius kill sedge?

    Celsius is not labeled for sedge weeds. We recommend you choose a product that is labeled for sedge such as ProSedge Herbicide, Sedgehammer, or Dismiss Turf Herbicide. You can always check a product label before making a purchase on our website to make sure the weed you are trying to eliminate is listed.     What is the shelf life of Celsius WG? How long is the shelf life in a typical hot garage?
    Calculating the labeled max/yr and my lot size, I figure one bottle would be 4+ years worth.
    A
    Celsius should not be stored in a hot garage. Storing chemicals in hot temperatures will degrade the active ingredient and greatly reduce the efficacy of the product. When stored properly, out of extreme temperatures and out of direct sunlight, you can expect Celsius to last for about 3 years from the date of purchase.

    I live is south florida and during the rainy season, weeds propogate. Most herbicides indicate they should not be used in temps over 85.

    Product label recommends applying with a boom sprayer. I have a small residential lawn ( approx 9400 sf) with flowerbeds and a Koi pond. What do you suggest I use to apply?

    For certain weeds, a second application made 2-4 weeks after the initial application may be needed for complete weed control. Total amount of product applied in a calendar year (365 days) must not exceed 7.4 oz (210 g) of product per acre.

    I have had little to no success with Atrazine due to not using a wetting agent and I was wondering if Celsius is the same? Will this require a wetting agent?

    According to the Celsius product label written by the manufacturers: This product has been tested and can be used on the following types of turfgrass and their cultivars:
    St. Augustinegrass including Floratam, Palmetto, Bitter Blue, Common, Amerishade, Raleigh, Sapphire, Delmar, Captiva. When used as directed on the product label, Celsius should not cause damage to established St Augustine grasses.

    What are the mixing recommendations for Celsius WG?
    I have a ortho dail N spary hose end sparyer that is 32oz how much should i mix in for a 1/8 of an acre with the sprayer dial at 1oz to a 2oz ratio

    This product will not work well in a hose end sprayer because those sprayers are not accurate enough to apply the correct amount of product.     Is there a better way to measure Celsius WG other than the cup that comes with it?
    the measuring cup that comes with the product actually starts at 0.17 ounces. That is the MAX per year for 1000/ft .... it recommends 0.057 ounces and thats not on measuring cup. Am I missing something? Why such a large cup to measure when that mark you need isnt on it?

    Celsius is a professional product and the manufacturer does gear it toward the professional applicator, including the measuring cup. Unfortunately we have no control over this because we do not manufacture the product. Our other customers have told us that they have been able to get small medicine syringes from the pharmacy to measure the smaller amount that they require.

    Is there an herbicide that kills Virginia Button Weed and does not harm St. Augustine grass?

    Celsius Herbicide is the most recommended product to treat Virginia Buttonweed in St Augustine grasses. Virginia buttonweed is notoriously hard to control and may require a second application after 2-4 weeks.

    Will Celsius harm other plants like forsythia, azaleas, bulbs and/or trees?
    A
    Some ornamentals may be sensitive to Celsius and since it wasn't tested for use on ornamentals it is best to try and avoid spraying them with Celsius. Do not plant ornamentals or bedding plants in treated bare areas for at least 30 days after the last application of this product.

    We have a variety of Stinging Nettle called Heartleaf Nettle/Fireweed in St. Augustine. Will Celsius work?
    This weed laughs at 2 4d and Atrazine. Even Roundup only browns. If not Celcius, can you recommend another treatment that does not kill St. Augustine?

    Why does my bottle of Celsius have a two year old manufacture date?
    I purchased this expensive bottle from your site and shortly after I noticed the manufacturing date was two years prior. In another answer you say the shelf life is three years. Will you be considerate and make good?

    We apologize for any confusion. We do recommend that customers use their product within 3 years of the date of purchase because it can take a while from the date of manufacture for the product to be sold. The manufacturer warranties their product for 5 years from the date of manufacture. You can confirm this with the manufacturer. You can reach Bayer by calling 800-331-2867.
