Rates for Change Up Selective Herbicide for Ornamental Lawns and Turf
For Bluegrass, Ryegrass and Fescue, apply 2 to 3 pints per acre. For Creeping Bentgrass use 1.25 pints per acre. For Common ad Hybrid Bermudagrass, Bahiagrass, Carpetgrass, Centipedegrass, and Zoysiagrass apply 1.5 to 2.5 pints per acre. For St. Augustinegrass apply 1.0 pint per acre.

Change Up Selective Herbicide is a broadleaf herbicide and should not be used around desired flowers, plants, trees, etc, as it can injure those desired plants.
Change Up Selective Herbicide can be safely used around pets as long as you follow the label instructions; all pets need to be out of the area while application is being made and they can return as soon as the application is dry.

Sandbur is a annual summer weed. Burweed is an annual winter weed. Sandbur will grow from 6 inches up to 2 ft tall. Burweed is smaller and grows to about 2 inches tall. Sandbur is light green/blends in the turfgrasses. Burweed has bright green leaves similar to parsely. Sandbur has a spiny, yellowish bur at the top of the stem. Burweed will latch onto the fur of animals and clothing.
Change Up Selective Herbicide will have a shelf life of 3-5 years if stored properly in a temperature stable environment (between 45 and 75 degrees) and out of direct sunlight.
Pets are safe to re-enter the area after Change Up Selective Herbicide has been applied once the product has dried completely. We usually recommend at least 2 hours of drying time.
Change Up Selective Herbicide can only be applied to established lawns. The product label recommends waiting until after the 2nd mowing of newly seeded or overseeded lawns before applying Change Up Selective Herbicide.
For a more accurate application, we recommend using a hand pump or backpack sprayer to apply Change Up because herbicides require a specific amount of product per area. Water is just the carrier so is not set and is however much it takes you to cover the area sufficiently. Please read the product label for complete application instructions.
Change Up Selective Herbicide does list both buttercup and Bulbous buttercup as weeds controlled on the product label.

Change Up Selective Herbicide does list oxalis aka woodsorrel as one of the weeds it controls. Please view the Ornamental Lawns and Turf Section on page 5 of the product label for applications rates depending on your turfgrass.
You could potentially mix Change Up Selective Herbicide with Tenacity Herbicide. We recommend doing a small jar test first for compatability before mixing a large tank for the first time. Be sure you follow the product labels for both products and use the more restrictive label instructions.
