Product Overview

The Chapin 4700 16 Ounce In-Line Fertilizing Injection System has a clear tank and a funnel-shaped head for easy monitoring and filling. The adjustable elbow connection allows it to be easily attached to any hose or spigot.  Ideal for liquid fertilizer, the in-line ferilizing injection system features HydroFeed technology and works differently than standard hose end sprayers.  Chemicals tend to have a higher density than water, causing them to sit in the bottom of the tank.  Rather than pulling chemical up and out and emptying the tank like a hose end sprayer, the injection system has an outlet tube that reaches all the way to the bottom of the tank, so that when water is added to the tank, it stays on top of the chemical mix, preventing the chemical from being diluted as it goes through the outlet tube. The tank will turn clear as the chemical runs out.

    Love my new Chapin

    By Russ on 03/24/2023

After using a decades old feeder, waiting for it to fall apart. My search began for a new idea. Installing my new Chapin and a few system modifications, I can now fertilize through every hose around my garden without having to stop to switch lines. It works great and has made my job easier
