    I have this Chapin 8000A 65 - Pound Lawn Spreader. how does it spread the product?
    Is it supposed to spread the material out the back (toward me as I walk)? Every walk behind broadcast spreader I've seen spreads material out in front of the spreader.

    The Chapin 8000A 65 - Pound Lawn Spreader spreads the granules in the front and on the sides. It does not spread in the back.

    What setting on the Chapin 8000A 65 - Pound Lawn Spreader do I use to apply 6\10 pounds per 100 square foot?

    The manufacturer of the product you are applying will supply the settings on the specific product  label packaging. If your specifici spreader is not listed, then you will need to calibrate your spreader to determine the proper setting for the application.
