The Residential Spreader is water resistant while the Professional Spreader is waterproof. The Professional Speader also has padded shoulder straps and a more durable zipper top. Those are the only differences in the two, they both hold 25lbs and can be used to apply granular fertilizers, granular pesticides, and seed applications.
