A few years back, the hills around the valley where I live suffered from wildfires and the wildlife (rodents) came to town. I ordered Contrex Blox for domyownpestcontrol.com a few years back along with the fake rocks. I used the blox with great results. When I needed more, I saw a product that looked the same at the local hardware store. I bought it and found that it only did so-so. You do not want so-so when dealing with rats and/or mice. I ordered Contrac again and have had the same great results. Don't be lazy about your choice like I was. I won't be lazy next time either.

Rats love Contrac Blox. I go thru a lot of it controlling rat populations. The only good rat is a dead rat!!!

I have used this product for the past few years and it works wonders with mice. I use it around the house in 6 locations and I am happy with the results.

this product is most likely the best that you can buy for all types of rodent control.....as a former orkin route supervisor, this product was used for all of our rodent control, and also used in all of our bait stations....the product works as stated, and nothing more can be asked of any product...........five star rating for this product.

The rodent population in my yard think Contrac Blox Rodenticide is a joke. I see no evidence that any has been consumed and the "crew" did not seem to have any intention of leaving until I called the professionals. Terminix has been called in and will guarantee their work inside and out. This is what I should have done in the first place. Since Terminix did their treatment things are improving and they will also remove any "bodies" and return as often as needed without additional charge. Return policy is terrible. Products must be unopened to be returned. How do you know if the product is reliable until you try it? Satisfaction is not guaranteed at DoMyOwnPestControl. So if you decide to place and order remember Caveat emptor "Buyer Beware"!

My daughter saw a large rat on my neighbors house and told my son who purchased a number of rodent traps, baited with contrac rodent blocks. We began to see dead rodents on the side of my neighbors house. When it starts to get dark the cat from across the sreet comes over to my other neighbor's house and we heard the lady telling the pest control man she has rats. My house is protected from the rodents. Really works great, had to order Contrac Blox Rodenticide to refill my traps.

Your product is succeeding in diminishing in one week the population of wood or pack rats. But the even more welcome results are from inserting your pellets into gopher burrows, and in one week see the activity cease. Your rep was not permitted to recommend this for gophers but you should change that restriction. Thanks, HES

Seems to be good product, only problem compared to last time, the blocks were brittle and I had a few crumble while trying to put them in the boxes

I was very concerned because, for the first time in 45 years, a nest of rats was established under the stoop of my Brooklyn row house. The Contrac Blox I ordered arrived promptly -- and a "meal" was immediately set out for the unwelcome visitors. Within a week, I was able to remove 3 corpses -- and all activity seems to have ceased. The stuff works!

I had a major rat infestation that was complicated by the fact that it was a horse farm where the previous owner raised Llamas. There was also a dog kennel, chicken coop and horses all housed in a 19th century barn. I was surprised at the acceptance of the Contrac Blox. The bait was placed in secure bait stations located in all of the out buildings and residence. After one day all stations were indicating visits by rodents in spite of alternative food sources. The facility is now in good order and of course all alternative feed sources are secure, the stations are still being monitored and there is no apparent rodent activity after only one week.

I have been using the Contrac Bolcks for about two weeks. Haven't found any dead rats yet but the blocks are being consumed, although at a slower rate than the other brand of bait I was using. I think part of the reason for the slow consumption is the bait boxes. They don't allow as many rats to feed at one time. Time will tell if Contrac is effective or not.

I am very pleased with my purchase of Contrac Blox Redenticide. I saved a load of money versus buying small quantities from Lowe's or Home depot and the free shipping was a real selling point. I am perfectly satisfied with my purchase and will buy again from Do My Own PestControl

Several months ago I switched from Contrac Rodenticide to another product. The rats loved the new product; ate it like candy. The rats thrived and did more damage than I could have imagined. Switched back to Contrac and within one week had at least three dead rats. I will not use any other product.

works great they eat this like candy. i researched this a lot and found that this is best price and this is also what my home town exterminator uses as well. will buy again although wont have to for a few years as 18lbs is going to last me even using on house and barn and wood shed boat camper everything. thanks again

I haven't seen any rats since I've started using the Contrac Blox. I put a pellet or 2 out where I would see them often and the pellets disappear but I have yet to see any more rats running amok like they were before I started using this product.

within 2-3 days started seeing dead mice, we found maybe 1/2 dozen dead, but think many left the house after feeling sick from poison. It's been 3-4 weeks since we started putting bait down and has probably been over a week since we've seen a mouse.

This bait/stations have worked wonders for rat control for years now.... I was trapping 50 rats every three weeks on my property using nine traps, and after setting six of these stations with this Contrac Blox bait around the property, the rats are gone. Of course, I do have to continue to fill the stations periodically to control the infestation where I live, but as long as I keep the bait in the stations, they work like a charm. The rats go underground to die, I have not found one dead rat on my property. This bait is efficient and inexpensive and well worth purchasing if you have a problem with rats. Also, I talked at length with one of the experts and he assured me these stations are safe around children and cats, or (in my case) rabbits..... I have a friend who has domestic rats (pets) and she researched this poison and discovered that it is a 'humane' way to kill a mass number of rats. I HIGHLY recommend this product, and am so very thankful for the day I discovered it at DoMyOwnPestConrol.com and spoke with their expert. I have encouraged others in this area to use them and they have been successful for them as well. One other thing to mention - when you very first set these stations around, it will take about 3 weeks before you will notice the effect..... BE PATIENT - don't keep moving them or opening them.... just leave them alone and be patient because this system of controling a rat infestation really works! You'll have to fill them more often at first, and then less as time goes by.

I had huge rats and mice running all over my house. It was so many of them. We got this product and within a week I haven't seen a thing. We purposely left food on the table overnight but everything stayed untouched. THEY ARE GONE. The product worked 100%.

We have been using Contrac Blox Rodenticide for a year and just purchased a second pail of Blox. We live in the country and this product has done a good job of keeping the ground squirrels and mice away from the house. If we don't have the Blox out the rodents are at the front door, in the garage and under foot.
