Could you still use firewood that's been sprayed with Amdro Quick Kill Outdoor Insect Killer Ready to Spray?

There are several banded longhorn beetles on all of my firewood stacks, especially the mesquite.

Answer:

We do not recommend burning firewood that has been sprayed with Amdro Quick Kill Outdoor Insect Killer Ready to Spray or any other insecticide. Burning any type of insecticide would release the active ingredients into the air. Per the product label: To protect firewood from carpenter ants (and termites), apply to the soil beneath where the firewood will be stacked. Use 1 quart to treat 640 square feet. DO NOT treat firewood with this product. Keep in mind that burning the wood will kill any insects that may be on it.
