    Q
What is the setting on a Scotts Broadcast Spreader to apply Crew Specialty Herbicide?
    A

Unfortunately, we do not have the spreader settings for Crew Specialty Herbicide. Due to the thousands of granules on the market and just as many different types of spreaders, you will want to calibrate your spreader to the product you are using and its application rates.

Take a moment to view our How to Calibrate your Spreader Video for a demonstration showing how to do this.

    Q
How many lbs per 1000 sq ft is Crew Specialty Herbicide applied and what spreader setting for Chapin 8700A should I use?
    A

Crew Specialty Herbicide is applied at 150lbs per acre (3.44 lb/1000 sq ft) in landscape ornamental applications with a maximum of 2 applications per year.
If your spreader model & settings are not provided on the product label by the manufacturer, then you will need to manually calibrate your spreader to the product you are using and its application rates. Take a moment to view a short video on the steps on How to Calibrate Your Spreader.

Due to the thousands of granules on the market and just as many different types of spreaders, there isn't a master list that exists. You can also try calling the manufacturer of your spreader or the chemical itself directly, to see if anyone on their staff has that info.
