According to the manufacturer: All of Sanco's pond dyes/colorants are safe and will not cause any harm to fish. Crystal Blue and Ocean Blue are food grade dye/colorants and are 100% safe for fish, animals, recreation, irrigation and potable water. Black Out is safe for fish, animals, recreation, irrigation, but is not safe for potable water.
We would be happy to check with the manufacturer further though to make sure no staining will occur.
There are no restrictions on how long you must wait to swim after an application of Crystal Blue Pond Colorant is made. We would recommend waiting a few hours or so after spraying so the product has time to distribute in the water. Crystal Blue Pond Colorant is just a a pond colorant and should not affect another chemical application since, per the manufacturer, it's a food grade dye/colorant.
