I have a half acre backyard swimming pond that HAD floating alge around the edges but with one application and a few days of waiting and watching, all that slimy stuff gone! It's amazing. my pond is in full sun and I applied a blue dye first and cutrine plus 2weeks after when the water temperature was 54 degrees.( Live in Wisconsin)

I have moss issues in my 1 1/2 acre pond. I have tried everything and raking was all that would get it out of the pond. I got the Cutrine Plus and sprayed according to directions. Got a rain after 24 hours of spraying and the moss left. When the water went back to normal moss was there but turned brown and no new moss is coming in. Still have some spots of the brown moss that has not left but nothing new.

I found this to be the best price on the Internet for Cutrine Plus Algaecide. I was pleased that my delivery arrived well ahead of when I expected. I have applied several diluted gallons at the 9:1 dilution rate from a tank sprayer and have seen excellent results on our 2-3 acre pond. Thanks, DMOPC!

This is one of the best algaecides for controlling planktonic algae in farm ponds. I have used it several times over the years-it works when nothing else does.

My pond is 1.75 acre with an average depth of 4-8 feet. After timely research for controlling the FILAMENTOUS algae all around the edge of the pond (approximately total 900 feet around) and reading multiple reviews, I decided on trying the CUTRINE PLUS ALGAECIDE. I followed the instructions --1 gallon per 1.5 acre, the formula, and using a backpack sprayer 9:1 in 84 degree weather and waited after 4 days, it appeared to have stopped some of the algae but the remainder is still growing. They were loose and completely soaked, blueish liquid was all over and around the algae but I am still seeing continued new growth. I am not convinced about the ratings of this product...bad batch maybe?? I am confused!

I had mats of algae floating on the surface of my 1/2 acre pond. I waited for a windy day when the algae mats had blown to one end and sprayed it with a pump up hand sprayer and it was gone in 3 days. I highly recommend this product.

I used this last year as my 2 acre pond started turning into pea soup. I did two applications and killed the algae within a few weeks. This product also killed all my floating algae. My water was clear for the remainder of the year. Word of caution, do not use to much or you will kill your small frogs, minnow, etc., please read the directions and warnings. This product does contain copper so you should NOT let any goats drink water that has been treated. If you have a algae problem this is the way to go, for me it worked great and I would recommend this for anyone wanting to clear out any algae problems.

Great product for control of floating algae. Takes a lot to get control though. I've been experimenting with different rates. A 1:4 Cutrine to water ratio is best, and even higher if you can apply evenly. A high concentration works best when the algae is blown to one side, so wait for a breezy day.

The algacide definitely kills floating algae, you can see it take effect within an hour. However make sure you get every bit or it will come back within a week. I have found that you will need to continue to retreat throughout the blooming season as it is not a one time fix.

Past usage has proven this to be an excellent product. DoMyOwn had the best price & included free shipment! Not fault of theirs, as the shipping label was printed correctly. But, it was delivered to the wrong address. No Biggie - just took a couple extra days, for a neighbor several blocks away, to deliver to my house.

Cutrine plus works well on killing and controlling algae. I use it as a spot treatment when algae appears. DoMyOwn was an easy to deal with merchant with prompt free delivery and a very good price. I will use this company again to by this product.

Worked well, the algae that I sprayed that morning was basically brown that afternoon. As it dispersed throughout the pond the floating clumps in the middle of the pond began dying. Make sure you spray your pond with enough to reach the concentration recommended in the directions, took 7-1/2 gallons in my pond (7 acre-feet) to make the required concentration. Last year I did not have an issue the rest of the year after spraying, did not impact the fish at all.

ordered 1 gal of cutrine they sent me a bottle that was leaking they new it was leaking because the lid was taped on when I opened the shipping box it leaked al over my garage floor I called to tell them about it they sent me a replacement
