Cyonara 9.7 is labeled for chiggers. You will mix 7ml of Cyonara 9.7 per gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft .
Cyonara 9.7 cannot be applied to any areas where horses will be grazing. If it is being applied to a non-grazing area, the horses will need to be kept out of the area while the product is being applied and until it is dry.
Cyonara 9.7 is not labeled for grubs but can be applied the same day as grass seed for other general pests listed on the product label.
Cyonara 9.7 can be applied at any time the temperature is above freezing as long as it is not raining or snowing.
Cyonara 9.7 Insecticide can be used on the tufts and seams of your couch for bed bugs. Be sure not to spray the surfaces where individuals will lay or sit. It is recommended that you treat every 10-14 days until you do not see activity for 30 days. The mixing ratio is 0.2-0.4 fl oz per gallon of water.
You should start to see results/decline within a few days of applying Cyonara 9.7. However, the product will only kill the roaches that contact a treated surface and when used alone with an IGR but without baits will not effectively eliminate an infestation completely. This is because not all roaches come out to contact the treated areas. It would also be recommended to use a bait such as the MaxForce FC Magnum. We recommend spraying low around baseboards, under appliances, in corners, around door frames and window frames. Useing the bait up high on counter tops, apply directly into cracks and crevices to get rid of the roaches that live in the walls. The Gentrol IGR will help disrupt the roaches breeding and development cycle, allowing you to get rid of the roaches you currently have before they reproduce out of control while the bait and Cyonara will help to eliminate them together.
We do have a great guide here that further explains "How to Get Rid of Roaches".
Cyonara 9.7 and Demand CS have the exact same active ingredient, Lambda-Cyhalothrin at the exact same concentration, 9.7%. Cyonara 9.7 is the generic brand of Demand CS and they are very similar. The main difference between the products is that the Demand CS is micro-encapsulated and the Cyonara 9.7 is not. Micro-encapsulation means that the active ingredient is contained in thousands of microscopic capsules that slowly release the product as the capsule dries out after the application. This helps the product be slightly less repellent to insects and helps the product last for a bit longer than other products. Equil Lambda CS is micro-encapsulated which means it stays stronger and more effective longer.
Unfortunately, Cyonara 9.7 is not labeled for any edibles. It is not recommended to eat the herbs or tomatoes that were sprayed with this product. Please let us know if we can be of any more assistance.
You should not mix Cyonara 9.7 Insecticide with other pyrethroid concentrates such as Bifen or Talstar. Essentria IC3 is also very similar and should be used as a separate application. Mixing any of these insecticides together would be redundant and may create a repellent effect, causing insects to avoid the area instead of contacting the insecticides.
Cyonara 9.7 can be applied in the lawn for ants when it is not raining/wet. You will want to apply prior to rainfall within a minimum of 24 hours for the best results. For more information on a successful eradication program, please take a few moments to review our article on How to Get Rid of Ants.
Cyonara 9.7 is not specifically labeled for rose midges. Most products are labeled for midges in general like this product. The Bonide Systemic Insect Control however is labeled to control rose midges specifically.
A presence of springtails means there is usually a moisture issue under the house or around the house. Springtail eradication depends on eliminating the moisture source. If the springtails are breeding from under the slab, then the granules around the outside of the house will not effect them and they will be able to get into the house. It is imperative to correct any moisture issues or water that puddles up against the house. You could use Bifen IT inside and on the house outside for some extra killing power in addition to the granules.
Typically, pesticides alone will not take care of a springtail problem. It is required to fix whatever moisture issue is causing the problem. You should read our "How To Get Rid of Springtails" article for further information
