    Is DeltaGard Insecticide pet friendly?

    DeltaGard Insecticide is safe for pets.  You should keep pets out of the area while treating. They can return once the product has completely dried.

    DeltaGard Insecticide  is applied with a ULV fogger as directed onthe product label.

    What is the mix rate for DeltaGard Insecticide for mosquitos?
    And what type of equipment do I need to apply it?
    A

    DeltaGard Insecticide should be applied by a ULV (Ultra Low Volume) mist blower or fogger at the rate of 1 part product to 4 parts water per acre.

    How many ounces of DeltaGard Insecticide do you use per gallon of water?
    A

    DeltaGard Insecticide may be applied undiluted.  If diluting then use at a 1:1 ratio.  Meaning if you use 8 ounces of DeltaGard Insecticide then you would use 8 ounces of water mixed with that for ULV application.  Please refer to the product label for more detailed application rates and mix ratios for differing applications.

    DeltaGard Insecticide is applied with any hand-held, backpack, portable and truck-mounted ULV equipment.

    Are the DeltaGard G Granules as effective as the DeltaGard Insecticide liquid inside a barn area?
    A

    DeltaGard Insecticide and DeltaGard G Granules both contain the active ingredient Deltamethrin which is very effective for the listed pests. DeltaGard G Granules are only labeled for use in lawns, landscaping ornaments, and perimeter treatments. If you are treating inside of a barn DeltaGard Insecticide would be the better choice as it is labeled for that type of application. Be sure to check the product label for proper application instructions.
