    Mixing
One q and a says not to mix Bifien and demand CS together. Then how long would one wait between spraying each? Why?
    A

Demand CS Insecticide and Bifen should not be mixed together as they would counteract each other. You wouldn't need to apply both in the same month. You could rotate them once a month but not use them together.

    Q
    Will Demand CS harm turtles?
I have a lot of turtles (and frogs) in my yard. I do not want to harm them. I see answers about no harm to frogs but what about turtles?
    A

Demand CS Insecticide is safe to use around animals as long as they are out of the area while you are spraying, they can return as soon as the area is dry. Although The Demand CS Insecticide is safe once it's dried, you do not want to apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Drift and run-off from treated areas may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in neighboring areas.

    Q
Is there a better or more organic option for outdoor American roach control?
I’ve used Demand CS for my outdoor patio, building perimeter, cement walkways, mulch bed, and grass areas it has worked great. However this year I have a garden planted and I’m concerned about runoff or contamination of my vegetable garden. I have an issue with American roaches, earwigs, ants, beetles,
    A

Depending on the distance of your edible garden to the home, mulch beds, etc, you can block overspray with insecticides using a plastic tarp or cardboard. Avoid spraying on windy days where spray drift would occur and when rainfall is not expected for atleast 24 hrs.

For the edible garden itself, we do carry Cyonara Lawn and Garden, which is labeled for several different vegetable plants and contains the same active ingredient as Demand CS.

    Q
Does demand CS kill fleas and ticks?
    A

Yes, Demand CS Insecticide is labeled to control both fleas & ticks. However, our Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit would be a better choice. Demand only controls those fleas & ticks that come in contact with the residual, while Temprid leaves a residual that they take back with them

    Q
    Alternative to Demand CS
Is there a more cost effective alternative to Demand CS? My target is primarily mosquitoes and ticks, and I need something for the higher heat months (the Bifen products don't last quite so long in higher temperatures) so I need it to be micro-encapsulated for longevity. Something without a horrible smell would be good too, I've used Cyonara before and that's tough. Thank you
    A

Avesta CS is a great alternative to Demand CS, with the same active ingredient and is microencapsulated.

    Q
Will Demand cs beige discolor my bricks and concrete?
    A

Demand CS is not known to stain, It is a micro-encapsulated product which means that it contains tiny micro-capsules which stay up on the surface of porous areas such as concrete. Like with all chemicals, we strongly recommend to do a test area first, if there are concerns.

    Q
I used too much Demand cs by accident...
I read a chart to use 2 tsp which I think is wrong or I should've used half as much in a 1/2 gallon sprayer
    A

Demand CS should be mixed at 0.2 to 0.8 oz/6 to 24 ml per gallon of water which equates to 1.2 to 4.8 tsps per gallon of water. You may view the full product label here for more information and complete application instructions.
