Demand CS Insecticide should not be mixed with Delta Dust. Delta Dust should not be mixed with water as it is a dry dust application only.
Per the Demand CS product label rate for mosquitos is 0.8 per gallon of water. You can treat every 30 days outdoors and every 90 days indoors.
Demand CS Insecticide and Bifen should not be mixed together as they would counteract each other. You wouldn't need to apply both in the same month. You could rotate them once a month but not use them together.
Demand CS Insecticide is safe to use around animals as long as they are out of the area while you are spraying, they can return as soon as the area is dry. Although The Demand CS Insecticide is safe once it's dried, you do not want to apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Drift and run-off from treated areas may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in neighboring areas.
Depending on the distance of your edible garden to the home, mulch beds, etc, you can block overspray with insecticides using a plastic tarp or cardboard. Avoid spraying on windy days where spray drift would occur and when rainfall is not expected for atleast 24 hrs.
For the edible garden itself, we do carry Cyonara Lawn and Garden, which is labeled for several different vegetable plants and contains the same active ingredient as Demand CS.
Yes, Demand CS Insecticide is labeled to control both fleas & ticks. However, our Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit would be a better choice. Demand only controls those fleas & ticks that come in contact with the residual, while Temprid leaves a residual that they take back with them
Demand CS is not known to stain, It is a micro-encapsulated product which means that it contains tiny micro-capsules which stay up on the surface of porous areas such as concrete. Like with all chemicals, we strongly recommend to do a test area first, if there are concerns.
