Demand CS is not a contact kill product, it is a residual product that can take a few days to start killing the carpenter bees. You could incorporate a dust insecticide like Delta Dust. It is water-resistant insecticide dust with the powerful active ingredient Deltamethrin, suitable for most common crawling and flying insect pests. Using insecticide dust directly in existing carpenter bee nests gives you the best chances of getting rid of carpenter bees that are already in the area. You can apply Delta Dust with the B&G Bulb Duster 1150. After this treatment, you can use Trebor Plastic Plugs - 3/8 inch 14 days after spraying and dusting to seal up existing holes. This allows time for the female bees to return to the nest, come into contact with the application, and spread the dust throughout the nest.
While Demand CS could potentially kills squash bugs since it is a non-selective insecticide, you cannot use Demand CS on edible plants like a vegetable garden. We have many other products you could use for squash bugs on edible plants, such as Triple Action or Pyganic Gardening.

No, Demand CS is NOT labeled for applications to mattresses where humans sleep directly for your safety. NyGuard Plus is labeled for ticks and fleas and it can be applied to the mattress. Spray only surfaces that cannot be laundered or dry-cleaned including mattresses and upholstered furniture. Apply on mattresses as a spot treatment to mattress seams, edges, buttons, and tufts of bed only. Do not use directly on pillows, bed linens, or cloths. Do not saturate the mattress and do not treat entire surface area of the mattress. Allow mattress to dry thoroughly before replacing pillows and/or bed linens. Demand CS is typically safe when used as directed and animals are kept out of the area until dry. However, we recommend contacting your vet for specific advice on what is safe to spray. We are not sure what would be toxic in the tortoises’ environment and we certainly do not want to recommend anything that could be dangerous.
Demand CS would be a great choice for spider control as well as general insect control. It is a great choice for indoor and outdoor spider control. Spraying Demand CS will also help to get rid of the other insects (silverfish, sow bugs aka rollie pollies and millipedes) that spiders feed on and that will help to stop new spiders from moving inside. Indoors, spray around all baseboards, door frames, window frames, under appliances, in closets and storage rooms and in areas where utilities enter into the structure. Outdoors you should spray around the bottom of the foundation, on the ground adjacent to the foundation, door frames, window frames and places where the utilities enter into the structure.
In this case, the “A” on the Demand CS product label stands for acre.
Since Demand CS is an insecticide, it could potentially harm honeybees which were sprayed directly or which came into contact with treated areas. We always recommend that you spray in the morning or evening when pollinators like bees are less active, and that you avoid spraying on flowering plants where they may be active. Usually there is not a danger to bees or other pollinators if you are just spraying around the perimeter of your home. We do offer Mavrik Perimeter, which is a broad-spectrum insecticide that is non-toxic and non-repellent to bees once dry.
