    Q
How long after spraying Demon wp should you wait to spray Gentrol?
I got demon wp going spray along counter top against wall and along appliances, was going to spray gentrol there and in cabinents, was wondering how long should i wait for the demon to dry before spraying gentrol.
    A
We normally do not recommend to apply Demon Wp in food handling areas. If you are treating for roaches, you can bait on the counter tops an in cabinets. You can spray Demon mixed with Gentrol along baseboards, cracks, crevices, and outdoors 2-3 feet up and out around the perimeter. You would mix 1 packet Demon with 1 oz Gentrol int o 1 gallon water.

    Q
Is Demon WP okay to use on carpet?
I wanted to to know if it was okay to get some on the carpet that meets the baseboards? Since its a wet able powder didn't know if it would clump up or anything!
    A
Demon WP is only labeled to be used as a crack and crevice treatment along the baseboards. If you have the option use a pin stream setting on your sprayer, you should get a direct stream and it would not spray on the carpet areas. It is possible it will leave some white residue on the carpet but we have not heard of any clumping. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Q
After I have sprayed an insecticide how long should I wait before I can put out a roach bait?
We've already used raid max spray to no avail.now we want to use a roach bait. Do we need to wait a few weeks for the spray to dissapait or can we use a bait now??
    A

When treating for roaches, we recommend using a bait, a liquid insecticide and an insect growth regulator (IGR). You are able to treat with all 3 of these products at the same time, just not on top of each other. For instance, our Roach Control Kit # 2 has all 3.

The Demon WP is for crack and crevice treatment around baseboards. Dilute 1 packet per gallon of water in a pump sprayer and apply in cracks and crevices where pests are seen, may harbor, or may enter the structure (corners, baseboards, and under and behind appliances) Do not spray on top of baits where bait will be used.

Gentrol Point Source Stations (IGR) - this is insect "birth control". These packs contain  Hydroprene, which halts population growth by keeping younger stages of roaches from developing into breeding adults therefore, reducing the population.  These packs last 90 days and are to placed in areas where roach activity has been observed ( cabinets, closets, pantries, drawers, refuse areas, electrical boxes, equipment, and false ceilings)
Invict Roach Bait Gel - Apply bait in small spots about ¼” in diameter. For most infestations, applications should range from 10 to 20 spots per 100 square feet. Smaller, more frequent spots are better than occasional large spots. Pay particular attention to cracks which lead into void areas, and specifically look for warm, moist areas. Insert the syringe tip directly into the crack and apply about 0.5g (pea size) amount of bait.
** You do not place bait on top of where you have sprayed the Demon WP ***
All 3 of the products are meant to be used at the same time for effective treatment.

    Q
I have a flea infestation! my boyfriend sprayed demon wp all overly apartment, floors, carpet and linoleum.
I have an eight month old baby. I've vacuumed and swept, but everyone in the house has the sneezes, is that because of the pesticide? I know it's not approved for indoor use, aside from crack and spot treatment.... which I read following his spraying.. is everything okay?
    A
Since Demon Wp was applied outside of label. We recommend that you contact the manufacturer Syngenta at 1-800-334-9481. You are correct that Demon can only be applied to cracks and crevices indoors. A better flea spray would be Alpine Flea Insecticide.

    Q
Will demon hurt chickens that eat the dead bugs or effect the egg safety?
Sprayed outside 3 days ago. Kept hens up until today, but they immediately went for the dead bugs when they were let out. Will they be ok? Is it safe to eat the eggs or is there a "detox" period where we should discard the eggs?
    A
The amount of insecticide on the surfaces is so minute that its only toxic to something the size of an insect. Even if the chickens were to eat many of the dead bugs, they would not be ingesting enough poison to harm them or the eggs.

    Q
I am applying Demon WP in the kitchen cabinets, how long after I spray can I put my dishes back in?
    A
Once Demon WP is dry, is it okay to put your belongings back into the cabinets. Depending on how thoroughly you sprayed the cabinets and how much residue is left behind - It is up to you if you want to wipe it out as well before replacing your belongings.

    Q
Does Demon WP Insecticide kill bed bugs?
Does Demon WP Insecticide kill bed bugs?
    A
Demon WP Insecticide is NOT labeled for bedbugs. Therefore, we would not recommend using it for that pest. We would recommend our Beg Bug Kits. Our bed bug kits feature top of the line products, the same products used by pest control professionals. Each kit comes with full instructions that explain exactly how and where to apply the products. Our kits have a very high success rate when customers follow the instructions, take their time, and treat thoroughly.

  • Asked by Martin from California

    Q
Will Demon WP kill bed bugs?
    A

No, Demon WP is not labeled for bed bugs.

We would recommend using Temprid SC. For your first treatment, you will use 16 mL per gallon of water and spray around the baseboards and cracks and crevices in the rooms where bed bug activity has been found. You will do follow up treatments every 10-14 days until there is no activity for 30 days. We would also recommend using Cimexa dust inside the wall voids. The bed bugs will walk over the dust and dry out. This can be applied with a hand duster. We would also recommend treating your mattress and box spring directly with Bedlam Insecticide. You will treat the tufts and seams of the mattress where bed bugs are likely to reside. Our Bed Bug Guide is a wonderful guide that we provide as well.

    Q
I sprayed Demon around base boards yesterday and this morning my 8 year old cat
has vomited about 3-4 times today including tonight at 9:00pm. He is hiding and does not want to sleep on the bed with me which is his practice. He may have walked on wet Demon. What is antidote if he has Demon over exposure?
    A

We would recommend contacting your veterinarian as soon as possible. They would better be able to give you advice on your cat.

We do recommend keeping your animals out of any area that was sprayed until Demon WP and any other product is completely dry.
