No, Casoron 4G Herbicide is not labeled to be used in sewer or septic lines to kill root systems and advises against that use on the product label. However, we do have Hi Yield Root Killer that is labeled for that type of application and use. Hi-Yield Root Killer dissolves the roots that are intruding into the pipes without harming those trees and shrubs outside of the lines. This product will not corrode sewer or drain pipes that connect to septic tanks and will not kill the necessary bacteria needed for septic systems to function.
