    Q
Can Dimension Ultra 40 WP be used with a hose end sprayer?
    A

We do not recommend using Dimension Ultra 40WP with a hose end sprayer application. It is made for larger tank applications because you need more water to distribute the product. Please see the tables on the product label for these distribution rates.

    Q
How much Dimension Ultra 40WP Herbicide should you mix in a 200 gallon tank?
I am a new commercial applicator and want to use Dimension for right-of-way areas (ditches and pipe yards). Most of my properties in square feet are equivalent to 3-5 acres, with some being much smaller. I have a 200 gal spray tank with a hose and gun to spray around the areas a boom can't get. How many packets should I add to the 200 gal tank to make sure I'm getting good coverage?
    A

The coverage area of Dimension Ultra 40WP will depend on what weeds you are treating and where you are treating. Each packet will cover approximately 1/4 to 1/2 Acre, so the entire envelope will cover 2-4 Acres. Page 6 of the product label details how much area each packet will cover.

    Q
Will Dimension Ultra 40WP Herbicide burn turfgrass?
We have a landscaper handle our weed control and the last time they were out a month ago, they put down Dim Ultra 40 WSP, and within a week or so we noticed specific areas of our lawn, front and back, were burnt or dead.
    A

If Dimension Ultra 40WP was applied at the incorrect rates or misused it could have caused it to damage the turf unfortunately. You need to find out what rates were used when it was applied.

    Q
What is the best time of the year to apply Dimension Ultra 40WP for someone living in Northern New York?
    A

Dimension Ultra 40WP should be applied prior to weed germination. The general rule is to apply your pre-emergent herbicide treatment after the ground has thawed from the winter but before the temperature of your soil reaches 55 degrees, as that is when crabgrass begins to germinate. Other weeds will germinate when the soil temperature is between 55 and 65 degrees. You can use a soil thermometer to determine the temperature of your lawn. You will want to measure the temperature of the soil a few inches below ground.

You may contact your local cooperative extension office to determine the correct timing of the application as this will vary greatly from region to region or search online for best time to apply in (your area).  A lot of universities have great articles for this.
