Do Advion Bait Stations for Roaches loose their potency? Bait inside is still soft.

I use the Advion Gel Bait for roaches and that gets hard too fast, so also use the Bait Stations for roaches. Do the Bait stations loose their potency or if the bait remains soft, is the potency indefinite? Thank you.
