Do bedbugs have to contact the areas treated with CrossFire Aerosol for an extended amount of time or is simply walking across sufficient?

Answer:

Bed Bugs must directly contact the treated areas with the CrossFire Aerosol in order for the product to work. The residual of the spray starts working in minutes on bed bugs and if used as a contact spray, can kill bed bugs within 5 minutes.  Using CrossFire Aerosol by itself will not eliminate bed bugs and should be used in combination with Cimexa Dust for best results. Bed Bugs do require repeat applications every 7-10 days until no evidence of bed bugs has been seen for 30 days. Please view our Bed Bug Treatment Guide for more information.
