I am interested in using this to treat adelgids on several hemlocks. It seems to me that soil injection would work best in my location. I'm assuming the injector tools just save time, but I want to be sure I'm not missing something. Could I just make 6" deep holes with rebar and then use a squirt bottle to squirt the required amount into the hole and have the same effect as if I used an injector? Thank you.
Soil Injections are usually applied with high pressure injection system. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer Prime Source at 877-235-0043 for clarification if the method you are wanting to do will give you adequate results.
