Do I need to worry about burning the grass, if applying the prescribed amount?

We don't have an irrigation system and just let the Georgia rain water the zoysia. Can I simply spray this with a backpack sprayer per the instructions when it's cool and let the rain come whenever, or do I need to be concerned about the grass getting burned later, if the nitrogen sits on the blades in the heat and drought?

Answer:

Apply 2-8 oz. of TurfGrassPro Blade Iron 15-0-0  per 1000 ft. sq. every 7-14 days. You will want to use enough water to insure an even application, so you can use whatever amount of water is needed to insure you get 2-8 ounces over 1,000 sq ft. You do not to apply before a heavy rain event nor during the heat of the day.
