Susie from Banning, Ca writes

Do I still need to use copper or volck oil spray in winter on fruit trees?

Answer:

For applications to Fruit Trees, there are specific application mix rates, growth stages of the fruit trees and timing recommendations that Bonide All Seasons Horticultural Spray Oil can be applied depending on the type of fruit and insects targeted.

Please review the Fruits, Nuts & Berries Section starting on page 2 of the product label for the listed fruits, application rates and timing suggestions.

Bonide All Seasons Horticultural Spray Oil generally can be used during all seasons, at the dormant stage (no leaves), delayed dormant stage (green tip stage), and during the growing season as spray to control overwintering eggs of insects such as mealybugs, aphids, leafminers and other listed insects.
