Do the Mattress Safe FurnitureSafe Encasements prevent bed bugs from climbing up the fabric of them?

Once you encase the couch can bed bugs crawl on the outside of the encasement from another location?

Unfortunately, no, that would not be the case with the Matrress Safe FurnitureSafe Encasement - Ottoman. This would only prevent a current infestation that was on the piece of furniture from getting further places within your home. To prevent other bed bugs from continuing to come on this encasement we would recommend you use the products that are in one of our Bed Bug Kits.  Also, please see our article How To Get Rid of Bed Bug Guide as well for more information on how to get rid of an infestation.
