The reason I ask is that I have been using Tenacity, which turns the weeds white. My customers are having a fit seeing their lawns turn white! I'm hoping this weed killer will solve my problems.
Nufarm Escalade 2 does not cause whitening on the turf, but it is only for broadleaf weeds in lawns as directed on the label. Yellowing or whitening of the turf after a broadcast application of Tenacity Herbicide is caused by the loss of chlorophyll and is completely normal. The product label states, "Tenacity may cause temporary whitening of turfgrass foliage. In general, symptoms appear five to seven days after application and last for several weeks. A repeat application to the same site causes less whitening of the plant tissue."
