Evelyn from Canyon Lake, Tx writes

Do I use the Bonide Root & Grow Root Stimulator 4-10-3 once, or do I use it more?

I am planting a crape myrtle. It is about 6 ft tall.

Answer:

The Bonide Root & Grow Root Stimulator 4-10-3 is meant to be used at the time of planting or transplanting and only needs to be applied once. FLOWERS, SHRUBS AND TREES: Use from 1-8 pints of diluted Bonide Root & Grow per plant, depending on size. For example, 1 pint of the mixture on mums, geraniums and other annual flowers. For Rose bushes and Camellias, use 3 pints per plant. For larger than 4 foot plants (trees and large shrubs), use 1 gallon of the mixture per plant. Pour diluted solution over the soil as the roots are being covered, making sure that the roots are wet with the solution. Wet soil around plants with water after planting.
