They ants look like crazy ants. They are on my counter top in the sink area. Probably came in from the black berries we pick from our back yard. I would spray and kill the ants they scrub the counter top before using again.
Termidor SC used outdoors and Phantom used indoors have been the most effective products to control Crazy Raspberry Ants. Ant baits and synthetic pyrethroid insecticides do not seem to do an effective job controlling this ant species. Texas A&M University has done extensive research regarding these ants and you can find detailed articles on their extension website. We have linked a specific article about them HERE.
