When an animal steps onto the trip pan in the rear of the Tomahawk Deluxe Bobcat Live Trap - Model 609.5, the door springs shut and locks into place.  The spring loaded auto locking V-door eliminates the chance of the animal backing out of the trap before the door shuts.  The trap is equipped with an adjustable trigger release mechanism that allows for heavy or light settings.
