Answer:

Essentria G Granules are not labeled for Japanese Lantern Bugs aka Spotted Lantern Flies. There are very few products on the market labeled to control this invasive pest.  For ornamentals, trees, and shrubs, we recommend using Safari 20SG Systemic Insecticide with Dinotefuran as a once a year systemic treatment while also using the Talstar P as a foliar application. Depending on the severity of the infestation you may need both, specially since systemics take time to work.

For Ornamentals and Lawns, Talstar P can be used as a foliar spray applciation at the rate of 0.25 fl oz to 0.5 fl oz per 1000 sq ft (10-20 fl oz per acre) to lawns.
