Does Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) kill bromegrass without also affecting a bermuda grass lawn?

The bermuda is slow to get established?

Answer:

Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) is a grass killer so it would affect both bromegrass and bermudagrass.
Being bromegrass is a cool season grass and bermudagrass is a warm season grass, they have opposite growth cycles. Bromegrass is commonly choked out during summer months by bermudagrass when it’s at full green up. Bromegrass can also be killed with direct spot spray applications using a non selective glyphosate product such as Roundup QuickPRO in late fall/winter when bermuda is fully dormant  We recommend speaking with your local extension office for their recommendations on the best method to remove bromegrass without damaging the Bermuda.
