Tiffany from Ohio writes

Does it absorb into the Nutsedge quicker if the leaves are trimmed down and sprayed directly into the shoot?

I have a rockbed overgrown with the nutsedge that my dog has access to. I need to spray the area, but even after I spray and it dries I don't want him to eat the grass( which he often does). I'm trying to figure out if it will be as effective if I cut the plants down and then spray.

Answer:

We recommend applying Bonide Sedge Ender two days after mowing your lawn. This will allow the weeds to be more open to absorbing the product. You also want to wait at least 2 days before mowing your lawn after application. Please refer to the product label for full application instructions.
